Ingredients

  • 260 gram Tuna packed in water
  • 8 Whole‑wheat bread
  • 4 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Garlic clove
  • 2 leaf Fresh basil
  • cup Onions, sweet, raw
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 2 Tomato
  • 3 cup Raw lettuce
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard

Preparation

Mix olive oil and garlic. Mix tuna, onion, capers and olive oil mixture.
Spread each slice of bread with mustard. Put tuna mixture on bread. Top with lettuce, tomato and basil leaves.
Makes 4 servings.

Cooking Tips

  • The secret of this recipe is to use water packed tuna. Oil‑packed tuna has almost 3 times more fat than water‑packed tuna.
