Pan-American Life Insurance Group Appoints Kristi-Marie Weston as Assistant Vice President of Regional Corporate Business

NEW ORLEANS, January 9, 2023 - Pan-American Life, Insurance Group (PALIG) a leading provider of life, accident and health insurance throughout the Americas, announced today the promotion of Kristi-Marie Weston to Assistant Vice President of Regional Corporate Business in the Caribbean. 

In her new role, Ms. Weston will be responsible for managing the Group Business profit centre (Group Life, Health, Personal Accident, Mass Marketing and Pensions), including sales activities, bottom line targets and production oriented to the corporate segment of the Caribbean Region. Additionally, she will be responsible for competitive product design and development, underwriting and reporting to regulatory agencies in each sub-territory and to PALIG’s headquarters located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Prior to her appointment as Assistant Vice President, Ms. Weston served as Manager of Client Relations and Corporate Business Solutions, where she managed the Corporate Employee Benefits portfolio in Trinidad & Tobago and provided support to the wider Caribbean region. Previously, she was Assistant Manager of the Client Relations Unit where she oversaw all aspects of the Unit and collaborated with multiple stakeholders to drive strategies to optimize business retention and service delivery. In addition, she was also responsible for managing key accounts in the regional Mass Marketing portfolio throughout the Caribbean. 

Ms. Weston earned her MBA title “Specialized in Project Management” from Anglia Ruskin University and Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University, New Orleans. She also holds State Licensing Long Term Insurance Examination, Associate Life Management Institute (ALMI), and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designations.
