We Do Not Sell your Information: We will not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose. Likewise, we do not engage in the use automated means to make decisions that involve sensitive information.
Your Rights

To exercise your privacy rights, you must submit a verifiable request here. Once we receive and verify this request, we will strive to respond to all legitimate request within thirty (30) days the number of days, unless an exception applies. Purpose of Processing
In this regard, and with full respect for your rights, the principle of lawfulness, and informed consent, as well as for the maintenance and updating of the contractual relationship between you and the Company, we use your data for the following purposes:
  • To establish and regulate the rights and obligations arising from the contracting of insurance or reinsurance services.
  • To provide accurate quotations and include you in an appropriate insurance policy.
  • To manage risks and handle claims or insured events.
  • To carry out claims’ adjustment procedures, process indemnity payments, and perform other operations related to contracted or prospective insurance and reinsurance services.
  • To provide technical support and respond to your requests regarding contracted services.
  • To comply with applicable legal and contractual obligations.
  • To send communications related to your policy or products offered by companies within the same corporate group.
  • To improve service offerings and promote products tailored to your specific needs.
Rights of the Data Subject
As a policyholder, you have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or object to the processing of your personal data. You may also exercise your rights to data portability, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), and restriction of processing, or revoke any consent previously granted for its use.
The processing of your data is carried out in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data of El Salvador, which ensures that all handling of personal information is conducted lawfully, transparently, and with your prior, free, and informed consent (Article 4, subsection d, and Article 28).

How to Exercise Your Rights

To properly process your ARCO‑POL rights request, it is important that your submission includes the following information:
  • Identification and contact details of the data subject, along with the means to receive notifications.
  • Documents that verify the identity of the data subject, and if applicable, of their authorized representative.
  • A clear and precise description of the personal data subject to the exercise of ARCO‑POL rights.
  • In the case of requests for rectification, the incorrect data must be identified along with the correction to be made and supporting documentation that proves the inaccuracy.
  • Any data, documents, or records that may help locate the personal data in question.
Data Transfer
When necessary, we may share your personal information with affiliates and trusted business partners for limited processing purposes that allow us to carry out daily business operations, such as claims processing, and with other companies to provide services on our behalf, such as website hosting or information delivery. We may also disclose your personal information if required by applicable law or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or respond to court orders, to protect and defend our rights or property, or in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of any individual.
At Pan American Life, the security and confidentiality of information are fundamental. Therefore, we implement administrative, IT, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access or fraudulent use, blocking potential intrusions and safeguarding your data.
Security systems are reviewed periodically to implement improvements and technological innovations that better protect information. However, the responsibility and care of the client or user are essential to cover other areas of security that depend exclusively on the information owner, such as the definition and use of passwords or access keys to our systems as a user (applications, web services, among others). Therefore, it is important that the client or user also keeps such information always secure.
